English Corner - Oct 21

Here's the poem that we read at the English Corner today - River & Elaine concentrating on their class assignment. Towards the end of the class, the students wrote and shared a short reflection about what they learnt with everyone. I thought everyone did really well - keep it up!!

Boat Rowing

We had a great time at the Boat Rowing at Kallang River last Saturday (Oct 14) - many of us have never done this before and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - well, at least I did :-) Many of us got WET not because we fell into the water but people were splashing buckets of water at each other. Towards the end of the session, there was a mini boat rowing competition and the boat that Qiao Xiao and I were in WON...!!

Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering

Here's a picture of us - Qiu Yun photography skill isn't bad after all - this picture looks quite good! Err... then again, this is probably the best - the rest of the the pictures she took were... err... anyway A+ for effort!

Glad you guys could make it - you know what...?? Shao Bo read up about the history of Mid-Autumn Festival and was suppose to share with the group - and we forgot! Maybe next year then :-)
